This Hans Christian Offshore Explorer 4750 is the quintessential blue water sailing yacht and one of the most desirable vessels ever constructed. With her proven passage making capabilities, the stout Hans Christian build itself is synonymous with extraordinary craftmanship and engineering to offer those adventurous sailors an opportunity to take to the open water for endless cruising delights.
Acclaimed designer, Chuck Paine, meticulously combined an ideal displacement with a long waterline and paired it with a full rig and bulb keel to deliver the Offshore Explorer's stand out performance and high-speed ocean voyaging. This vessel has been intimately cared for with all the accoutrements and upgrades to fulfill any sailor's appetite and fully prepared to take you on your next circumnavigation.
This vessel has been blessed with a strict maintenance plan including weekly washdowns, bi-annual detailing, monthly bottom cleanings and anodes replaced as recommended. The owners have taken great pride in making prudent and progressive steps towards further outfitting this yacht for proper cruising. The original commissioned owners have since contacted me and were pleased to see her continuing to make memories and passages for those adventurous cruisers who appreciate a quality vessel.

Manufacturer Provided Description
The Hans Christian Offshore Explorer 4750 features quality construction with ease of handling, living comfort and general performance in a top quality cruising sailboat. The hull offers raw speed potential due to long waterlines, a high range of positive stability, and sufficient bow overhang to deflect boarding seas. The large center cockpit features an aft helm that allows for better visibility and produces a much more seakindly motion with less pitching. A canvas dodger is standard and a fixed dodger / deckhouse is optional. The deck has been designed for single-handed sailing with the main halyard and reefing lines led back to an electric winch in the cockpit. Primary winches are less than a step away from the helmsman. Standard features include deck accessed lockers that provide storage, a sail locker with watertight bulkheads and its own bilge pump, and a swim platform with an integrated locker for bonus storage. Belowdecks, the interior features a traditional three-stateroom layout with two heads, each with a shower stall. Comfortably sleeping six, this layout provides real comfort for extended living aboard. The aft owners' stateroom with six feet, four inches of headroom, two hatches, operable ports, and two cowl vents, together with its queen berth, vanity, tall hanging locker, storage, and en suite head completes an exquisitely comfortable master stateroom. An optional washer / dryer or large clothes hamper is built into the separate shower stall. The forward stateroom with its queen-size berth and en suite head is truly luxurious with two large hatches, two operable ports and a cowl vent for excellent ventilation. Other standard features include a bureau, hanging locker, bench, and lock-off storage. The port cabin features an oversized sliding door, as well as a passageway sliding door opposite the mast.
